Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
Welcome to Avorio
These terms govern your use of Avorio — the website, browser extension, and any other products we offer. By using Avorio, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
We've tried to write these in plain language. If something isn't clear, reach out and we'll do our best to explain it.
Who can use Avorio
You must be at least 13 years old to use Avorio. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Avorio is currently available for personal, non-commercial use. Using the service to build a competing product, scrape our results in bulk, or resell what we produce is not permitted.
Your account
You don't need an account to use Avorio, but creating one lets you save analyses and access your history. If you do create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account.
If you think someone has accessed your account without your permission, let us know right away at support@shopavorio.com.
What Avorio does
Avorio aggregates publicly available reviews and pricing information to help you research products. We filter out sponsored posts and low-quality content using a combination of heuristics and AI, then summarize what's left so you can make a more informed decision.
Our results are informational only. We don't guarantee that they're complete, accurate, or up to date — review landscapes change quickly, and we're summarizing a snapshot in time. Don't rely on Avorio as your only source before a major purchase.
Some deal links in our results are affiliate links. If you buy through one of them, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. This never affects how we score or rank a product.
Things you shouldn't do
We ask that you use Avorio in good faith. Specifically, please don't:
- Use automated scripts or bots to submit queries or scrape results
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce our analysis pipeline
- Submit content designed to manipulate or abuse our filtering systems
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm others
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these expectations.
Our content
The summaries, scores, and analysis Avorio produces are our work. You're welcome to share them or quote from them — just don't present them as your own original research or reproduce them in bulk without permission.
The underlying reviews we pull from belong to their original authors. We surface them here under fair use for the purpose of commentary and analysis. If you believe we've included something that shouldn't be here, contact us and we'll review it.
Third-party services and links
To run our analysis, we pull data from a number of third-party platforms — including Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, and various retailer sites. We also link out to retailers when we surface deals. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we have no control over them.
Avorio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any product manufacturer or retailer unless we say otherwise explicitly.
The browser extension
The Avorio browser extension lets you trigger an analysis while you're on a product page. When you click the button, the extension sends us the URL you're on and, optionally, some of the page text. It only acts when you press the button — it doesn't monitor your browsing in the background.
The extension is subject to these terms and to the extension store's own policies (Chrome Web Store or equivalent). We may update the extension from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Disclaimer of warranties
Avorio is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of our results for any particular purpose. We don't guarantee uptime or that the service will be error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avorio and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including purchasing decisions made based on our results, loss of data, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Avorio and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) that arise from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Termination
You can stop using Avorio at any time. If you have an account, you can delete it from your account settings or by emailing us — we'll take care of it within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate access if someone is abusing the service, violating these terms, or if we discontinue the product entirely. If we shut down, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
When these terms change
If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top and let you know — either by email (if you have an account) or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
