Hi there
Avorio helps you cut through the noise when researching a product. You share a link or describe what you're looking for, and we pull together reviews from around the web — filtering out sponsored posts and fluff — so you can make a decision you actually feel good about.
We take your privacy seriously. This page explains exactly what information we collect, why we need it, and how we handle it. We keep it simple because we think you deserve to know what's going on.
What we collect
The product you look up. When you paste in a link or type a search, we save that so we can run the analysis and remember the result for a little while. That way, if someone else searches for the same thing, we don't have to start from scratch.
Your account information. If you create an account, we store your name and email address. That's it. We use it to keep you signed in and to reach you if you ever need help.
Page content when you use our browser extension. If you use the Avorio browser extension, clicking the button sends us the address of the page you're on — and optionally, some of the text on that page — so we can run a more accurate analysis. We only do this when you press the button. The extension doesn't run in the background or watch your browsing.
Feedback you send us. If you reach out with a comment or bug report, we keep that message so we can follow up and fix things.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your browsing history, financial information, passwords, or anything else we don't actually need. We don't run ads, so we have no reason to build a profile about you. We don't use tracking pixels or sell your data to anyone — ever.
How we use your information
We use what you share with us to do one thing: run the analysis and show you the results. Your searches also help us improve the quality of what we return over time — for example, understanding which kinds of queries work well and which need more work.
If you've sent us feedback, we use it to fix bugs and make the product better. Your account information helps us keep your session active and, if needed, get in touch with you.
Some deal links in our results are affiliate links. If you buy something through one of them, we may earn a small commission. This never changes how we rank or score a product — the analysis runs the same way regardless.
Who we share it with
To run the analysis, your search or product link passes through a few partner services — for things like gathering reviews from social media platforms, finding pricing and deal data, and powering the AI summarization. These partners only receive what they need to do their part, and we don't let them use your information for anything else.
If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, that login is handled by the provider you chose. We only receive your name and email from them — never your password.
That's the full list. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't hand it to anyone outside of what's needed to run the service.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it at any time. You can also request a copy of the information we have about you, or ask us to correct anything that's wrong. Just send us an email at support@shopavorio.com and we'll take care of it within 30 days.
If you're in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to contact your local data protection authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and to request its deletion.
How long we keep your information
Analysis results are kept for a short time — typically around 24 hours — so repeat searches stay fast. After that window, they're cleared out. We don't hold onto your search history longer than necessary.
If you have an account, we keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data goes with it.
Feedback we receive is kept until the issue is resolved or we've acted on it.
Children
Avorio is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please reach out and we'll remove it promptly.
When this policy changes
If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your information, we'll update the date at the top of this page and let you know. We won't quietly change something important without giving you a heads-up.
