Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Avorio earns affiliate commissions. Some of the links on this site — including most “where to buy” links — are affiliate links, which means we may be paid a commission if you click one and make a purchase. It never costs you anything extra, and it never affects a product's score or where it ranks.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Which links are affiliate links
Assume any link that sends you to a retailer is an affiliate link. That covers the deal and price links on analysis pages, the buy links on product and recommendation pages, and product links inside our blog posts.
Links to non-commercial sources — the Reddit threads, YouTube videos, and other reviews we cite — are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.
You can always check for yourself. Every monetized link on Avorio is marked in the page source with rel="sponsored", the standard attribute for paid links, and routes through our /go redirector before landing on the retailer.
Programs we participate in
Avorio is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
We also participate in other retailer and network affiliate programs, including the eBay Partner Network, Walmart's affiliate program, and merchant programs run through affiliate networks such as Awin. The specific programs we belong to change over time as we're accepted into new ones.
Why this doesn't change what we recommend
This is the part that matters, so here is the actual mechanism rather than a promise.
Scores are computed before money is involved. A product's score and its pros and cons are derived from filtered reviews by code that has no access to commission rates. We resolve which affiliate program pays for a given retailer at the moment you click a link — after the ranking has already been decided and rendered.
Retailers are ranked by trust, then price. The order of the “where to buy” list reflects how confident we are that a seller will ship you the genuine product at the stated price. A retailer that pays us nothing can and often does appear above one that pays us well.
No paid placement, ever. No brand, retailer, or network can pay to be featured, to rank higher, to be added to a recommendation list, or to have a negative review removed. We don't accept sponsored posts, and we don't accept free products in exchange for coverage.
Prices and availability
Prices and availability shown on Avorio come from third-party data sources and are accurate only as of the time we retrieved them. They change frequently and may be out of date by the time you read them.
The price shown on the retailer's own site at the time of purchase is the one that applies. Always confirm there before buying.
What happens when you click
Clicking an affiliate link records that a click occurred — which retailer, and which program it was routed through — so we can reconcile what we're paid. The retailer or network typically sets a cookie so a later purchase can be attributed to us.
We don't sell this data or use it to build a profile about you. Our privacy policy covers what we collect in full.
Editorial independence
Avorio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any product manufacturer or retailer whose products we analyze. Retailer names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify where a product can be bought.
This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). If anything on this page is unclear, or you believe a link isn't properly disclosed, please tell us at support@shopavorio.com and we'll fix it.
