These units are better than most for odors, because they have the carbon grid, and the Plasmawave will help a lot too.
They're great at filtering air with 3 hairy cats and many litter boxes, I purchased a Winix HR900. Very Quiet.
This thing sucks up dander and hair like crazy. It also has a charcoal filter for odors and works really well.
Ive noticed a huge difference in the air quality throughout the home and even the basement. Highly recommend.
