Whirlpool 5.3 cu. ft. Freestanding Electric Range
Community verdict
Owner experiences with this electric range are predominantly negative due to significant reliability and safety concerns. While a minority of users find it to be a simple, no-frills performer, most buyers report serious defects shortly after purchase. The primary complaints involve the glass cooktop cracking spontaneously, dangerous door heat leakage, and severe electrical hazards like melted wiring.

I bought the Whirlpool one. I like it. It won't win any special features awards but it's a solid performer.
Within 6 months of the warranty expiring the glass top made a pop and the entire glass top cracked
This will be the third glass cooktop that has cracked, now they are saying it’s scratched,, it clearly cracked
The oven door gets SO HOT and heat escapes. Definitely not a good oven for those with children.
