Community verdict
The Titan SCR2 tankless water heater offers an affordable and compact solution for on-demand hot water. Owners consistently praise its low price tag, small wall footprint, and the quick fix of its pin-hole reset feature when thermal trips occur. However, several buyers cite concerns over long-term durability, noting that units frequently fail after a few years and that warranty claims can be restrictive.

my titan water heater last for about 6 years, that's not bad seeing how it only cost $243. That's not a bad price to pay every 6 years!
Hey all, I had to reset the heater again but read on a site that you can use a paper clip to insert into the hole on the cover... Praise the Lord...
this is a very stupid design by the titan company by making a little hole to stick a paperclip to do a reset.
Titan water heater are garbage. Mine lasted 3 years and my neighbors lasted 4. Most hot water heaters are rated for 10 years.
