The Roku interface is really nice, and Picture Quality is good for a TV of that price.
We have two TCL TVs and have been very pleased with them for their price points... for a bedroom/guest TV I would give the TCL a positive review.
If you plan on doing anything with hdr, then yes the 4 series is awful, low brightness and not a wide color gamut.
Watching movies and sports on this TV is a joy, thanks to the 4K Ultra HD resolution that's four times sharper than regular 1080p TVs.
