On my back, the Stihl felt 5 lbs. lighter and the wand was a lot easier to maneuver - I felt like I could carry it all day.
Going from a hand held maybe 250 CFM/125MPH to a backpack 900+ CFM/220+ MPH was honestly much more astonishing than I thought it would be.
It's a great unit and can move a lot of leaves. 800 is a much bigger unit and drinks more gas,etc. I do like the side pull if you get an 800.
Stihl BR 800. Its a beast. And I've never had so much fun doing leaves!
