Speed Queen TC5 3.2 Cu. ft. Top Load Washer
Community verdict
Across 50 authentic reviews, the Speed Queen TC5 earns a stellar 9.2 rating as owners and appliance technicians overwhelmingly praise its commercial-grade durability, rapid ~30-minute wash times, and traditional deep-fill agitation. Reviewers frequently ditch modern digital HE washers for its straightforward mechanical controls and superior cleaning power. However, the most consistent caveats are its premium price tag and comparatively small 3.2 cu. ft. capacity, which struggles with bulky bedding like king comforters.

After dealing with a Maytag that barely made it five years, I wanted something more old-school, simple, and built to last.
Pros - should last a long time, washes the heck out of the clothes. Most cycles are around 30 wash and 45 min dry. Cons - pretty loud compared ...
As an appliance tech for the last 18 years, not only do I own this model but it is the only washer I recommend to my customers.
It is small. It doesn't do a queen comforter. You have to take it out of eco mode and use regular or 'more water'
