Shure SE215 Sound Isolating Earphones
Community verdict
The Shure SE215 earns a 6.8 as a reliable workhorse monitor that prioritizes function over audiophile fidelity. Reviewers consistently praise its robust build, ergonomic low-profile fit, and exceptional passive sound isolation for live stages and drumming. However, buyers frequently note disappointing sound quality that easily distorts at louder volumes, especially when compared against newer budget alternatives.

The noise isolation is great, perfect for drumming, just make sure to squeeze the foam and get them deep in your ear canal.
On the use side of things, the SE215s are built to last, isolate well, and are comfortable...
At lower to mid volume they are good. Anything higher than that and they distort easy and sound really cheap.
Currently looking for sub-100$ IEMs for live performance and Shure SE215 seems to be the obvious choice however the Chi-fi space looks pretty intrigui
