Salomon X Ultra 4 Gtx W Lunar Rock Ebony Mint 5
Community verdict
The Salomon X Ultra 4 GTX receives polarizing feedback from hikers, with long-time brand loyalists noting a distinct drop in quality compared to previous generations. Satisfied buyers praise the boot for its lightweight feel, instant comfort without a break-in period, and reliable trail traction. However, critical reviewers frequently report painful forefoot creasing, narrow sizing, and accelerated upper and outsole wear.

I’m a convert to the church of Salomon, the hype is worth it. Can’t wait to take them out again!
they are comfortable & broke in quickly & are super light. However, if you are susceptible to throwing debris into your own boots... do not buy these
my X Ultra 4s barely lasted 2 years of not much usage before developing a large hole in the upper around the bottom eyelets
IMO salomon QC has gone to shit the past few years and their products wear out quite quickly in my experience.
