Salomon Pulsar Trail
Community verdict
Across 10 authentic reviews, the Salomon Pulsar Trail lineup earns an 8.1 out of 10 for its nimble, lightweight build and smooth ride across mixed terrain. Trail runners frequently praise its stability on technical paths, uphill responsiveness, and seamless transition from road to trail. The most common caveats are a relatively firm underfoot feel, reduced ground feedback from the higher stack, and fit issues regarding the upper.

The Pulsars definitely feel a lot firmer underfoot, which felt more stable in technical rocky stuff
Trail Pro 2's are really cheap for what you are getting, and are my favourite shoes to run in. Works really well for road-2-trail too.
It's got a fairly high midsole stack for a trail running shoe and is lightweight and nimble. It doesn't have much ground feel
The ride is really really nice and smooth. Not super soft like the ultra glide but not Salomon firm. The upper is kinda flawed in my opinion.
