RHEEM RTEX-13 13kw 240v Tankless, Instant Electric Water Heater
Community verdict
The Rheem RTEX-13 is an efficient point-of-use or small-home water heater that users praise for delivering fast hot water in a compact package. Performance depends heavily on ambient ground water temperatures, making it most successful in warmer regions or for single-fixture applications like sink faucets and low-flow showers. The most frequent complaints center on its limited flow rate when running high-draw fixtures like bathtubs, alongside strict electrical wiring requirements that can lead to compliance debates with inspectors.
