reMarkable Paper Pro
Community verdict
The reMarkable Paper Pro earns high praise from users seeking a focused, distraction-free environment for reading, sketching, and writing. Owners consistently highlight the natural paper-like display, comfortable front light, and the addition of subtle color elements for document markup. However, potential buyers frequently cite the premium price tag and software limitations—such as basic text conversion and lack of native handwriting search—as major points of hesitation.

The back light is good. The pen is accurate and a joy to use. The screen feels good. Very paper-ish. Screen refresh is good.
No apps. No pings. No distractions. Just pure thinking, writing, and reading on a screen that actually feels like paper.
The RMPP text converter wasn’t great either. It simply added unnecessary layering to any workflow correcting all the poor conversions.
Not being able to search handrwritten notes for a premium device meant for handwritten notes is pretty crazy !
