Carbide bibs are crazy comfortable. Like, way more comfortable than jeans, about as comfortable as climbing pants.
Outdoor research carbide bib, as far as fit, is great for my heavy bottom pear shape.
Pear shaped, and super stretchy and waterproof, definitely want to have thicker base layers underneath.
