Mailchimp is still super solid if you need advanced automation and integrations, but yeah it feels heavy if your main goal is just sending a newslette
Mailchimp is a good resource but THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!
Very buggy and unreliable. And fixes to code would revert to bugs. The automation functionality is infuriatingly slow and badly designed.
With the pricing tiers, Mailchimp lets you stay free for a lot longer than Constant Contact (i.e. more people on the list before you have to pay).
