KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series Stand Mixer
Community verdict
Scoring 8.6 out of 10, the KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus is widely praised as a substantial step up in power and stability over entry-level tilt-head models. Buyers consistently highlight its heavy-duty motor, all-metal gearing, and ability to handle dense bread and pasta doughs with ease. However, some users find the bowl-lift mechanism less convenient to maneuver, and occasional speed switch issues have been noted over extended use.

The professional is almost 2x the wattage and the power difference is huge.
While I can't recommend the tilt head mixer the bowl lift one is the best on the consumer market. Every part is easily replaceable and cheap.
I have the Professional 5 plus for 3 years and I love it. I make lots of dog treats, cookies, cakes, pie dough, pasta dough and bread dough.
I have the Professional 5 Plus bowl lift mixer. Lately I've been noticing some issues when turning it on and/or turning the speed up.
