KitchenAid Classic Series 4.5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer
Community verdict
The KitchenAid Classic Series 4.5-Quart Stand Mixer earns an 8.4 out of 10 for its exceptional longevity and reliable everyday mixing performance. Owners consistently highlight its multi-year durability when making regular batches of cookies, pasta, and moderate bread doughs. However, reviewers note that heavy batches or large quantities can strain the 275-watt motor and push the 4.5-quart capacity to its limits.

I've had this one for 12 years and run it at least once a week. I work the heck out of it and have never have any problems with it.
It's 4.5qt 275 watts. I regularly use it for making bread dough, pizza dough, pasta, and bagels. I've had it for years.
It was pretty good at kneading. It was extremely bad at the initial mix when close to capacity. Ingredients just wouldn't incorporate right.
I've had my KA stand mixer for about 10 years. I have never had a problem with until recently.
