The manual does not give really good instructions. It would be great if Kitchenaid had more videos showing all the functions and some recipes.
Make no mistake, this thing is BIG, I had to make several modifications for this to fit, for this unit sticks out farther and rides lower...
Performance wise, the Kitchenaid ranks well with being quiet but bad on heating and doesn't even out perform on venting.
Ours did the same thing, very dissappointing! And both Home Depot (with 3 yr extended warranty) and Kitchenaid would not take responsibility.
