As someone who uses PC's a lot... I think keychron is an amazing entry to mechanical keyboards.
I just got this one, with the K Pro (red) switches and after a few hours of manic typing on it I can say I love it over my G910.
Did a long-term review of my Keychron V1 (hint: it's GOOD.)
And i felt the barebones would be fun little semi custom build experience. But for only $20, for me, the extras would be a welcomed addition.
