The shoes have a good grip. I didn't slip at all on the loose gravel. They are also very comfortable on wide feet and I didn't have any blisters.
The Jasper Zionic specifically is a very comfy, very light, flexible shoe. excellent for hiking.
I found these and they are perfect. Super comfy... They clean up well and can be worn as a dressier shoe as well.
The Zionic takes the Jasper and upgrades it slightly for hiking, but it's still very much an everyday/multipurpose shoe.
