it's the best ice maker I've ever had and I have no regrets.
The cleaning process is ridiculously tedious. No ice for 24 hours is not sustainable.
Even if you clean and maintain the machine, the opal and anything else like it isnt really made to last more than 2-3 years.
UPDATE... It used to make this HORRIBLE noise... Someone mentioned to try distilled water and guess what? THAT WAS THE KEY!!!
