Fender Player II Jazzmaster
Community verdict
Based on 7 user discussions and reviews, the Fender Player II Jazzmaster earns a score of 8.1 out of 10. Buyers consistently praise the smooth fretboard feel, balanced pickups with classic sparkle, and how well the bridge pickup handles high-gain tones. The most frequent caveats center around minor neck preference complaints and the absence of traditional Jazzmaster rhythm/series circuits found on other models.

The neck and fretboard are so good. The pickups are hot but not too hot and have that classic Jazzmaster sparkle...
Pickups sound pretty good. Surprisingly the bridge isn't overly harsh and takes gain extremely well.
It does have some nice features that a Player II Jazzmaster doesn't like the series circuit...
Honestly, neither Player II is a particularly great Jazzmaster or a Jaguar. The Jag by far is the worst of the two.
