I installed an Ecosmart 11 in our house in Pensacola 11 years ago and it's worked fine.
The actual heater is an ecosmart 11, which is 13kW. It cost me $200, but is NOT big enough for the whole house.
Worked ok in the summer, but in the middle of winter was terrible.
The temp is adjustable in 1° increments, and maxes out at I think 145°. and it is hot enough to be scalding
