Dyson Ball Animal 2 Total Clean
Community verdict
Based on 13 authentic reviews, the Dyson Ball Animal 2 Total Clean earns a 6.8 out of 10 score for its powerful suction and impressive capability with pet fur on standard carpets. Buyers appreciate the long power cord and large dust bin capacity, making it a capable deep-cleaning upright. However, reviewers frequently criticize its bulky frame, difficult maneuverability on plush rugs, unpleasant bin-emptying process, and hair-wrapping issues that can damage the brush mechanism over time.

I find it very capable at ripping dirt and most importantly pet fur out of carpets. The long cord is nice. Emptying the thing is unpleasant.
If you want a bagless upright, it's the best. I have a few in my collection. It's a decent cleaner. Pretty bulky so it can't go under furniture.
The Animal 2s love to wrap hair that then moves into the brush drive mechanism bearings and literally melts it apart.
The vacuum head leaves weird lines in carpet and doesn't suck evenly after 6 weeks. The cord is in the absolute worst position.
