Dell Latitude 3540
Community verdict
Based on 12 authentic reviews, the Dell Latitude 3540 scores a 6.2/10 as a budget-friendly business laptop. Users consistently praise its easy component upgradability—including RAM, SSD, and battery—as well as noticeable improvements in chassis durability compared to older 3000-series models. However, severe hardware quality control complaints, such as loud fan noise, faulty power buttons, and docking station issues, represent the primary concerns among buyers.

The noise it makes is unbearable, motherboard is replaced, Problems start with the power button.
The 3540 has user replaceable battery, wifi, ssd and 2 ram slots. It is an overall good device and on the cheaper side.
The build quality on the 3540 is not awful. It's certainly better than the previous 3000 series.
I was extremely impressed with the build quality, It's definitely not going to be as portable as an XPS.
