I love the weight, the wide toe box (i have wide feet), the grippiness of the lug pattern, the waterproofness.
They're super comfy out of the box, and have amazing traction. Not the most supportive, but more than adequate for day and overnight trips.
On my feet all day and they still feel like a cloud after 10 hours. Danner makes quality boots, I'd give these a shot.
I have flat feet and wear Mountain 600s for hiking and more and they are very comfortable.
