I mainly use them at the gym and the ANC is fantastic. I had the original QuietComforts and these are a big step up in terms of sound...
The second gen gave me hope, but unfortunately it's been a letdown, and some of the “improvements” feel more like new problems instead of fixes.
The sound is very balanced. Noise cancellation is G tier awareness mode is good too but needs a little work.
For me, the Bose have the better fit and seal, and the ANC and sound are fantastic. Call quality on the Bose is OK but not great.
