It works surprisingly well as a vacuum; it sucked up a potato chip faster than my Dyson V10. It kinda sucks with hair though.
The Crosswave is quieter, lighter, and leaves the floors drier, but it only takes like the top layer of dirt off.
I have two dogs and three cats and the amount of hair it pulls AFTER sweeping and vacuuming is crazy.
The CrossWaves aren't liked here as they get bunged up pretty quickly and are hard to clean. They work well, they just don't last at all.
