Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Pet Select Wet Dry Vacuum
Community verdict
Based on 12 authentic reviews, the Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam earns a score of 6.8 out of 10 for its strong suction power and effective hot steam feature on hard surfaces. Users appreciate its ability to combine vacuuming and mopping into one step for quick cleanup of debris and spills. However, buyers consistently cite significant frustration with maintenance, noting that wet pet hair clogs the machine and thorough post-use cleaning is required to prevent odors and breakdowns.

The steam works (and the steam is HOT and not just water vapour...), suction is good...
It works surprisingly well as a vacuum; it sucked up a potato chip faster than my Dyson V10. It kinda sucks with hair though...
The CrossWaves aren't liked here as they get bunged up pretty quickly and are hard to clean. They work well, they just don't last at all.
The water just makes the hair wet and stuck inside the machine, which actually just causes more of a headache and more cleaning...
