Sony WH-1000XM5 Premium Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones
Community verdict
The Sony WH-1000XM5 receives an 8.0 out of 10 for its top-tier active noise cancellation, excellent call clarity, and long-lasting battery life. Buyers frequently highlight its lightweight comfort for travel and daily commutes, as well as the audio improvements possible through app EQ tuning. However, multiple reviewers express disappointment over the redesigned, non-foldable frame, fragile headband hinges, and aggressive auto-optimizing ANC that cannot be manually overridden.

I’ve had them for about 7-8 months now... Sound Quality: 10/10, never had anything better than this in terms of sound quality.
Had mine for almost 2 years now, it’s perfect. Zero issues, and I’ve used it daily for commutes, and overseas flights.
This is truly one of the best noise-cancelling headphones I’ve ever used. It delivers impressive high-resolution audio...
If you look at the extendable arms, there is a horizontal line where the ear cup can swivel... This bit is where my product broke.
