Sony VPL-XW5000ES 2000-Lumen 4K UHD Home Theater Laser SXRD Projector (Black)

Community verdict

The Sony VPL-XW5000ES earns high praise for its native 4K sharpness, film-like color accuracy, and excellent out-of-the-box Reference mode. Buyers consistently note that it excels in dark dedicated theater rooms with outstanding native contrast and smooth motion rendering. However, several users express frustration with overly dark HDR content, lower real-world lumen output than advertised, and clunky motion processing settings.
