The X Ultra 4's were a huge disappointment, a major change in design and nothing but pain in my feet every time I tried to purchase a pair.
The X Ultra 4's were terrible for me. Actually painful not simply uncomfortable narrow toe box.
They are comfortable but I've read some negative reviews on them. Mostly about the tongue moving around and feet getting very wet...
They are extremely waterproof (especially if they're taken care of), however if you somehow get snow/water inside, they can be a bit long to dry
