Community verdict
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra generates mixed responses, praised for its strong cleaning power, rapid mapping, and quiet operation compared to competitors. Many owners applaud its carpet pickup and edge-cleaning abilities in busy households. However, long-term reliability concerns, inconsistent obstacle avoidance, and frequent dock maintenance—especially regarding pet hair buildup—remain widely noted drawbacks.
