Community verdict
Scoring a 6.6 out of 10, the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro delivers solid high-resolution video and wire-free convenience for homes without existing doorbell chimes. Reviewers appreciate the straightforward battery-swap design and improved network performance over 5GHz Wi-Fi. However, frequent complaints center on faster-than-advertised battery drain in high-traffic areas and the strict necessity of an ongoing subscription to view recorded footage.
