Rheem RTEX-13 Electric Tankless Water Heater
Community verdict
The Rheem RTEX-13 offers quick, point-of-use heating for low-demand applications such as individual sinks or single-bathroom setups in warmer climates. Users appreciate its fast warm-up time and compact footprint compared to traditional tank units. However, many report severe limitations with higher flow rates like filling bathtubs or running multiple fixtures simultaneously, as well as strict 60A electrical wiring requirements during installation.

4 quotesDirect organic buyer opinions about Rheem RTEX-13 Electric Tankless Water Heater, filtered for spam and ads.
This unit provides *warm* water after about 7-8 seconds and is fully heated after 15 seconds vs. the nearly two minutes we used to wait.
The gallons per minute output on that tankless probably can't keep up with your tub but has an easier time with your faucets
Wire this thick, stranded of course, was still quite difficult to get connected to the interior terminals due to having to bend to fit inside
rtex-13 instant hot water heater. These electric tankless units are horrible just warning you.
