Kobo Elipsa 2E
Rakuten Kobo
Community verdict
The Kobo Elipsa 2E serves well as a large-format e-reader, offering an open ecosystem for EPUB files alongside updated warm lighting options. Most buyers appreciate its large screen size and user-friendly interface for reading and basic document annotation. However, users frequently complain about poor palm rejection, noticeable writing lag, and a slippery feel when taking notes compared to dedicated paper-like tablets.

The Elipsa 2E can do some mathematics as well... It's very fast as well
PDF and EPUB reading is robust and the notetaking is decent too.
Love the size of this reader, but good god the lag with writing makes it almost unusable.
my biggest issues so far are with the pen eraser feeling being annoying, the writing feeling is a bit "slippery" on the screen
