Community verdict
The Pyrex Ultimate line is praised for its healthy, glass-and-silicone construction that avoids plastic food contact and microplastic concerns. Most buyers value the overall quality and durability of the glass containers for food storage and meal prep. However, some users note that the silicone seal can contract in the freezer, making the lid hard to remove or open when frozen.

The new models I see are the pyrex with lids made with glass and silicone to where they attach to the bowl
The only real negative is using them in the freezer, as the contents can contract and the silicon seal can contract into the container
