My 45L is by far my favourite bag, as it's so versatile and an absolute tank.
The internal frame helps a ton to keep the weight on your hips. 6'1” ~193lbs in pretty good shape. 45L is still my best travel investment ever.
It's an exceptional bag but you're right, it is a little heavy. But to me, it's worth it to have quality and durable materials.
