Patagonia Women's Houdini Jacket
Community verdict
The Patagonia Women's Houdini Jacket is widely praised as an essential, highly packable emergency layer that excels at blocking wind and trapping warmth during outdoor activities. Reviewers consistently highlight how effortlessly it fits into running vests, hip packs, or daily bags, making it ideal for variable weather conditions. However, many buyers note that it lacks traditional hand pockets and is not breathable or waterproof enough for heavy rains or high-output sweating.

What people are saying
4 quotesDirect organic buyer opinions about Patagonia Women's Houdini Jacket, filtered for spam and ads.
It doesn’t excel at anything other than blocking wind and trapping a little heat. But it is highly packable
Packs down small enough to hang on a belt loop, yet robust enough to protect from wind and rain, while light enough to forget about.
On the first use, I was not convinced due to the lack of breathability and trapping a LOT of moisture inside
It's a lightweight wind jacket that only stops the tiniest drips.
