Community verdict
The LifeSpan TR1200-DT3 offers a significant step up in build quality and daily endurance compared to budget walking pads. Longtime users praise its capability to handle multi-hour daily walking routines and high mileage over several years, provided regular belt lubrication and motor cleaning are maintained. However, recent buyers frequently report declining manufacturing standards, motor failures after extended use, and notoriously unresponsive customer support.

It's over five years old and I average over five miles a day on it basically never missing a day. Should be near 10,000 miles now.
I am more than happy with the TR1200. Using it daily from October till April, for up to 10 hrs. It is worth it, regular maintenance is needed.
I got a tr1200i because of good reviews and after 5 years it stopped going above 3 mph (the motor would get stuck at that speed).
Buying a $2000+ treadmill desk from Lifespan does not come with good support. The instructions are poor, the customer support is almost non-existent
