It's the best ice maker I've ever had and I have no regrets. I have one and it's amazing. Great ice all the time.
The ice is great, it's fast, and the compressor fan isn't too loud. The downside, as with any ice maker is cleaning it is a paining the ass.
Unit gets very warm, which makes it slower to make ice (and melts ice faster), which makes it run more, which makes it warmer...etc.
To anyone who has not purchased a GE Opal 2.0 nugget ice maker, BEWARE!!! They make the best ice ever until they don't.
