Focal Bathys Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones
Community verdict
The Focal Bathys stand out primarily as an audiophile-grade wireless option, earning strong praise for exceptionally detailed sound, dynamic punch, and an impressive built-in USB-C DAC mode. Enthusiasts frequently note that audio performance far surpasses standard consumer ANC headphones, especially when paired with modern high-bitrate codecs. However, many buyers express frustration with weak active noise cancellation, annoying thumping artifacts caused by movement while walking, and a high price point that feels hard to justify given its feature compromises.

4 quotesDirect organic buyer opinions about Focal Bathys Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones, filtered for spam and ads.
The Bathys MG provides the best balance of timbre, dynamics, soundstage, imaging, resolution, and more. It is certainly the sonic Goldilocks for me.
They sound exceptionally good for a wireless headphone, have a good build and design, and nice features like ANC and a USB-C dac mode
My biggest issue with it by far is the fact that the ANC doesn't reject movement noise very well, so even just walking... can cause bumping noises
ANC sucks so much compared to the competition... Transparency is just a joke. There's a constant static hiss and human speech sounds terrible.
