Community verdict
The Camplux portable water heater earns strong praise for off-grid cabins, travel trailers, and outdoor rinsing. Buyers consistently highlight how quickly it heats water, its straightforward setup, and its efficient use of propane. However, users note that it requires a pressurized water supply rather than gravity feeding, and flow rates remain significantly lower than home showers.

What people are saying
4 quotesDirect organic buyer opinions about Camplux 5L 1.32 GPM Outdoor Portable Propane Tankless Water Heater - White, filtered for spam and ads.
The water does heat up pretty quick. Once the propane is connected and water hose is attached.
The unit only lights and uses propane when the shower nozzle is actually turned on and the water is flowing so we used very little propane...
Without a water heater in our travel trailer and vacation cabin, this is the perfect answer to quick set up and use.
The first thing you should know is that the water flow is less than even most "high-efficiency" or low flow showerheads.
