Burton Ion Step On Snowboard Boot Wide Mens
Ion Step On Wide
Community verdict
The Burton Ion Step On Wide is widely praised for providing an excellent anatomical fit with a spacious toebox that accommodates wider feet without sacrificing heel hold. Riders consistently highlight its stiff flex, superb board responsiveness, and overall premium construction. However, multiple reviewers express frustration with the high price tag, occasional speed-lace jamming, and a tendency for the flex to soften significantly after extended use.

What people are saying
4 quotesDirect organic buyer opinions about Burton Ion Step On Snowboard Boot Wide Mens, filtered for spam and ads.
I've found that the Burton Ion Step On Wide has an Lems-like or Altra-like fit. Wide toebox and normal width from forefoot down to heel.
The ions are definitely a much stiffer boots, are a little heavier, but overall seem very durable and well constructed.
Now to the boots: for the first 20-30 days they worked and fit absolutely perfectly. Around day 30 the really started to noticeably feel softer.
Ion's stitching falls apart (not good for $600 boots). Burton tends to run narrow like Nikes.
